I'm 61 and was widowed last year. My wife and I had a great sex life for nearly 40 years. I have been seeing women 45 years old and younger and love those active libidos and the great sex. I'm starting to look for a more permanent relationship in a woman closer to my age but I want her to still be passionate and love sex. Most of my friends say they have almost no sex life with their wives. With a younger woman I have no qualms about initiating sex but with a 55 or 60 year old I would be afraid they would rebuff me with some remark like "Sweetie, you've got to be kidding. I haven't done what you are wanting to do in years." If older women have strong libidos how do I find out up front that we'll have fun in bed if the rest of the relationship is good?

i'm sorry for your loss. if you like what a younger woman gives you and what you give her, why discount her at all? can you only have a permanent relationship with an older woman? as far as your question, there's this little sport about as old as mankind, its called "girlwatching". i'm sure within a few sessions you will see what big differences there are from those with no libido and those with very active libido's. sorry i can't explain it here, i would have to turn in my man card!! ladies, send all hate mail to .........

You know, I've heard this before but I wonder if it's really true. I'm nearly 49 and my libido is sky high. I don't think men notice me. My husband sure loves it though. Our sex life is better now after 29 years of marriage than it was when we were younger but I don't think other people notice.

first of all, the man doing the looking must have some sort of libido for him to have enough interest to look. if it's been a coon's age since he has had any action, he may look but not see! some men see but don't give a signal, they may not want to tip off the lady on their arm. does that mean they didn't enjoy some eye candy, absolutely not!!

th, I've wondered the same thing, but I think it may be more of a case that you don't notice that they notice - or they don't let on.

I'm over 50, have libido coming out my ears and I'm a performer who does a pretty adult show and no one EVER hits on me. Ever. My acting coach said I give off a strong "married" vibe.

I'm certainly not looking for anyone to hit on me but I've kind of been trying to notice if anyone else sees it anyway. You know, just to know if they can tell. I feel sexy so I just wonder if I portray that to others. I would imagine that I too have a strong "married" vibe.

I have been looking at other girls to see if I can tell about them. Once in awhile I'll see someone that looks like they have libido but mostly I don't.

OP, there are tons of ladies out there waiting for a guy like you. Look everywhere from church to the grocery store!

first a few questions, do married woman want to get "hit on"? does it make you feel better knowing you are still appealing to a perfect stranger? does your husband feel better knowing someone else finds his wife appealing? i have seen women of all shapes and sizes go out in sweats and slippers to full on heels, makeup, hair done, dressed to the nines just to get groceries. it doesn't matter your size but how you perceive and carry yourself that is the turn on. which one do you think a man will give a second look and maybe a compliment? confidence is very sexual.

Eva_m and th replies woke me up to the fact that the women that still want to have fun in bed with a man they enjoy will dress, act and broadcast in a suttle manner their sexuality. D rat's help has me girl watching already. I'm not shy and won't care if a pretty woman reproaches my advances. This is going to be fun. As for the age thing. The reason I am looking for an over 50 woman is because I would like to have a permanent partner whose children a little older than the 45 and younger ones. I enjoy my two grandsons so much and I look forward to enjoying a special woman's grandchildren also and not helping a younger woman get her own children into maturity.

Interesting indeed. It surprised me. Only one response from ,a male on that forum.

Instead of guessing, just ask. If there were a woman I'm interested in and we seemed to make a nice couple, I would let her know my needs and wants in life and she should let me know hers. It's that simple. As for being able to tell if a women has a strong libido, I think you can tell even if she guards it well. We project energy and the eyes are the windows to the soul. Yes men can tell. It doesn't mean she is putting that out there to share,..... we can tell and it brings a nice smile to our faces. Also, validation is a nice feeling when we work hard to take care of ourselves no matter what size we are. Health is sexy and other people noticing it lets us know taking care of ourselves is working. Good health and good sex are one.

One of the biggest highlights of my life (older) was being hit on in a grocery store about three years ago by a good looking man about 15 years or so younger than I was....He followed me three places...On the third place he just plain bumped into my cart at the soup aisle...Told me he wanted to get to know me....

That little episode helped create a part of me that I never knew....Maybe the confidence of youth...The assurance that I am still a very sexually stimulating woman......And it helped me open the door to my mind to proceed in life with what I wanted to do.......I love it when men hold doors open for me.....I love it when they flirt.....So does my husband.....

Yes, my friend....In my humble opinion, women over 50 are hornier than they have ever been in their life....I believe for many women it takes time to accept themselves and their sexuality....It is part of the alluring part of a woman as she ages.....The only problem comes with the fact that so many think that as they age and especially after menopause that the good part of them has died off.....This is such a shame as in reality.....she has only just begun.....
