I recently discovered that my husband is viewing porn on a daily basis. Lucky for him, the internet provides a plethora of oppprtunities amd means by which to get his fix.. He can read about it, watch it,download it..whatever strikes his fancy for that day. It appears that he is spending several hours a day doing a combination of all these things and i am just wondering when is enough ENOUGH? I'm not a prude, I understand men like porn..I have no problem with him visiting a site every once in a while or getting a movie here and there...thats not the issue...just seems to me that anyone who spends THAT much time focusing on something so unproductive might have a problem. Thoughts?

You are raising a very important topic. My first question is, are you talking with your husband about this? Does he know how you feel? Are you sure he’s using porn to the degree you say? If so, have you asked him why he is watching this much porn? It sounds like the two of you are quite disconnected right now, and talking to a therapist could be very helpful. Obviously, porn use can be very damaging to a couple’s intimate relationship. It can also be a symptom of other issues going on in the relationship that need to be addressed. There is a book called “The Porn Trap” that you might find helpful.

I think there are some misunderstandings between you 2 did you consult it with your husband, why is he so much interested in them,talking and underatanding will sort out everything

Spending too much time watching porn can be harmful and can degrade the way you think and feel about sex. Talk to your husband, explain your concern and maybe try surprising with something from the movies he watches daily, make him understand you can be he's porn queen again.
